What do you do when every brunch place in Austin is packed on Mother's Day? B-B-Q !

Found an obscure bbq place called Opies to hit up for lunch and a very cute, vintage furniture market that happens only twice a year on the way back. Picked up some stuff for the house and DEFINITELY look forward to going back.

I missed my mom on Mother's Day. Probably the first I had with out her. Had lots of friends become new moms this year. I know it's a tough job. To all the mothers out there hope you had a wonderful weekend. You deserve it!
